WHY DO WE PRAY?
To come into God’s presence for the expectation of hearing from God and developing a relationship with Him through communication.
At LCW, we believe that both personal and corporate prayer is foundational to the work of the Kingdom and the building up of the followers of Jesus.
“If my people who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land.” 2 Chronicles 7:14.
“But seek first His Kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.” Matthew 6:33.
HOW AND FOR WHOM DO WE PRAY?
To praise and worship God, to thank Him, to repent and ask for forgiveness.
For LCW and its leaders, for the other local churches and for the global church.
For individuals and personal issues within the church.
For the salvation and needs of the community: families, schools, Wilmslow Youth and businesses.
For civic leaders, our MP, local and nationwide politicians and global leaders.
